    Job Title: Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator

    Job Summary:

    Fast-growing Remote Care provider is seeking an experienced Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator for our Speciality Educator Team. This position is 100% remote, and hours are flexible.

    Our Specialty Educators work 1:1, coaching patients over the phone and via Zoom to lose weight, eat smarter, and prevent or control diabetes. They assess patients' nutritional needs, develop personalized meal plans, and educate them on healthy eating habits, blood glucose monitoring, medication management, and other aspects of weight loss and diabetes self-care. Our educators also conduct online support groups for healthy eating and diabetes. Our platform features customized websites we set up for individual patients on which our educators can curate videos and reading materials specific to each patient's needs. Collaboration with the rest of our Care Team and physician providers is key to our success.

    Our ideal candidate should be available working hours Monday-Friday, either part-time or full time.

    (Minimum 20 hours per week). This is a contractor position (1099), so there are no benefits or PTO.

    Responsibilities:

    Remote Nutritional Assessment and Counseling:

    Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors to develop individualized nutrition plans.

    Provide personalized dietary recommendations to help patients achieve glycemic control, manage weight, and prevent complications associated with diabetes.

    Offer ongoing nutritional counseling and support to address patients' needs and goals, adjusting meal plans as necessary based on changes in health status or treatment regimens.

    Collaborative Care and Interdisciplinary Teamwork:

    Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients.

    Serve as a resource for staff development of our Care Team

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist(CDCES) certification is preferred.

    Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience coaching patients on weight loss and diabetes.

    Strong knowledge of multiple diet approaches, including GLP-1.

    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.

    Proficiency in nutrition assessment tools, electronic health records (EHR), and educational resources.

    Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the field of nutrition and diabetes.

    This is a remote position.
