    Summary

    The Customer Service Representative’s primary focus will be to help customers by providing product and service information and resolving logistical and technical issues and support to ensure the growth of RPP Products, Inc.

    GOVERNMENT BIDDING - proposal or quotation submitted in response to a solicitation from a contracting authority. By law, government agencies are required to issue bids publicly whenever they are in need of a specific product or service.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT – C-Store/Grocery/Wholesale/Mass Market

    Assist Sales Management with all activities related to the various Classes of Trade

    Internal Account Management – Specific Account(s)

    Govt bid or institutional bid experience

    FOLLOW-UP AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

    Handle customer inquiries and complaints

    Troubleshoot and resolve order issues and concerns

    Document and update databases

    Communication between multiple departments

    Assist Sales Department with various tasks such as updated contact/contract info and monitor for rebate compliance

    Process Purchase Orders via QuickBooks

    Assist RPP Operations and Logistics to assure complete and timely deliveries as necessary

    Ensure timely deliveries and distribution of Marketing Materials to RPP Corporate and Field Sales Team

    Assist with Show participation schedules, allocations, and budgets

    Attend selected customer functions (Tradeshows, Sales Meetings, etc.) as necessary

    Monitor competitive Distributor, Customer and Industry trends and report findings to RPP Management

    Required Skills/Abilities

    Govt bid or Institutional bid experience

    Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills

    Ability to prioritize and multitask

    Excellent verbal and presentation skills

    Basic math skills

    Positive and professional demeanor

    Demonstrated intermediate skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Gmail)

    Valid Driver’s License

    Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

    Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines.

    Required Education and Experience

    High School diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a business-related field preferred or related Customer Service work experience)

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a corporate office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

    Physical Demands

    The employee is required to sit and use both hands for typing for extended periods of time; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl periodically. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time, non -exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 hour a day shifts, 24 of those hours per week will be worked working out of the corporate headquarters located in the Bloomington, CA. Employee must be available during the “core” work hours and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Long hours and occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
