Looking for someone to join our Tool Room Department doing die repair on 2nd shift.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Operate all tool room equipment.
- Read, interpret, correct, modify and build from basic machine tool prints.
- Weld certification is not required, however, a basic understanding and skill in mig, tig, and arc are needed.
- Basic understanding of SPC.
- Must be able to use and accurately read various types of measuring equipment in both metric and English.
- Must be able to maintain close tolerances in all machining operations.
- Must have a basic understanding of metal forming and the tools used to form metal.
- Must be able to distinguish between the various types of dies (i.e., draw, pierce, trim, cam pierce, re strike, progressive)
