  • Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Has a basic understanding of regulatory, documentation, design, risk analysis, audit, corrective action, product development, pre and post market, and supplier management requirements.
    • Understands or has a knowledge of good manufacturing practice requirements, validation, design input, rework, audits, complaint, component and control
    • Able to recognize terms, methods, definitions, and principles as it relates to their functional area of quality and will learn to apply with guidance.
    • Actively seeks input from internal/external customers and gains their trust and respect.
    • Develops open lines of communication with others and establishes a high degree of trust and credibility with others.
    • Will be able to solve problems using quality improvement tools and techniques and learn to overcome barriers to quality improvement with the help of senior quality engineers.
    • Will be able to analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods such metrology, data analysis, Statistical Process Control, etc. with guidance from senior quality engineers.
    • Will have a basic understanding of the quality audit process.
    • Learns and applies company policy, procedures and documentation.
    • Plans work and carries out tasks with instruction and begins to make constructive suggestions with supervision.
    • Takes actions, makes decisions and focuses on individual and team priorities.
    • Partakes in efforts to increase efficiency and drive improvement to processes within their functional area.
    • Actively seeks to establish a self-development plan with direction of their manager or a senior engineer that identifies learning opportunities and activities that will achieve personal and team growth.
    • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
    • Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    1. Background in ISO-9001 and ISO-13485 desired
    2. Working knowledge of injection molding process & materials
    3. Effective communication – oral and written.
    4. Experience using auto cad or solid works desired
    5. Experience with Kaizen, 5s, SMED, Cellular concepts, and Mistake Proofing desired
    6. Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
    7. Ability to follow all company work rules, policies, procedures and guidelines.
