  • Responsibilities

    Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse, assist in meeting the patients’ needs for treatment to include taking vitals, cleaning wounds, application of pressure dressing, assisting with surgical procedures such as suturing or other duties as required by the physician or nurse. Assist nurses in obtaining data for assessment as well as assisting the nurse to provide care. Supports the smooth operation of the department by performing tasks associated with general unit organization and orderliness. Assist in maintaining emergency department supplies. Assists with transportation of patients in and out of the ICU, ED, transportation to Radiology and in case of admission transport to patient’s room. Performs other clinical and clerical duties as requested. Recognizes the normal signs (growth and development of aging) of the patient population indicated above and understands the requirements of assessment, treatment, and care of the specific age group(s). Initiates and maintains the hygiene/cleanliness of the patients, the patient’s environment, and the unit environment. Performs or assists with performing nutritional/hydration interventions (feeding, providing fluids, H2O or snacks). Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion and respect for all patients, families and visitors. Participates proactively in problem solving initiatives. May be floated between ICU and ED. When floating to ICU assist with ADL’s, VS, repositioning, FSBS and other clinical duties as requested.

    SCHEDULE: PRN.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

    • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school.
    • BLS Certification.
    • Phlebotomy, CNA, or EMT certification or 1 year clinical experience.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Experience in leading large projects with contracts of 50 million-dollars and greater in size with a significant level of self-performance of trade labor.
    • Four-year Engineering, construction management degree or equivalent, plus extensive (fifteen or more years) experience/knowledge of construction, design, construction management required. PMP certification would be a positive attribute.
    •  Experience with innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
    • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital; superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential.
    • Significant business skill acumen is needed to understand construction industry factors that lead to successful projects.
    • Previous construction project management experience in the Power industry is essential.
