    LOCATION: 2905 WILLOW LANE C1, ZION, IL

    HOURS: 24 HOURS A WEEK... FRIDAY ( 1:00PM-9:30PM) AND SATURDAY & SUNDAY (7:00AM-3:00PM)

    FLSA STATUS: HOURLY

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Provides direct services to clients including organizing and facilitating individual and group treatment and activities, supervision of the milieu and case management and outreach.
    • Develops clients’ abilities to problem-solve interpersonal conflicts.
    • Facilitates with clients and collaborates with the treatment team to develop, review and update treatment goals and referrals both internally and externally.
    • Takes responsibility for training in and documenting clinical chart requirements to meet program and state standards.
    • Provides atmosphere of customer service in assuring that clients are treated in a friendly and respectful manner. Displays positive attitudes and behaviors in the accomplishment of job duties.
    • Focuses on client empowerment and evidence-based practices in providing treatment, seeking to assist clients to build on strengths in addressing treatment needs.
    • Provides education and direction to clients, family members and/or significant others.
    • Organizes and participates in treatment-related clinical conferences and staffing's on assigned clients. Reports client progress, behavior problems or need for medication evaluation to program supervisors/physicians/psychiatrists regularly.

     

    EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND CERTIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or
    • Bachelor’s in any field and two (2) years’ experience, or
    • High School diploma or GED and five (5) years’ experience

     

    IF IN A SUPR FUNDED PROGRAM, WITHIN 24 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    • Must obtain certification as an Alcohol/Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) by the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Board (I.A.O.D.A.P.C.A.) or have equivalent certification by a similar state or national board

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

    Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.  Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.  Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions. Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.  Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.

    Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.  Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments.  Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.

    Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted.  Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
