Job Purpose
Manager, Salesforce Development will lead our Salesforce development team, and will oversee all aspects of our Salesforce instance including application development, integrations, and strategic road mapping.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
· Lead development of new features and enhancements across our suite of Salesforce applications.
· Architect solutions and oversee complex integrations with other systems including billing, ERP, marketing automation etc.
· Continuously optimize and enhance performance of the Salesforce platform and applications.
· Establish and enforce best practices for development, release management and change control.
· Develop technical requirements based on business User Stories.
· Manage relationships with key business stakeholders and clearly communicate development status.
· Stay ahead of new Salesforce releases/functionality and identify areas to leverage for additional value.
Required Skills
Skills and Knowledge Required
· 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce administration and application development.
· Previous people management experience required.
· Expert level knowledge of Salesforce Lightning and Apex development.
· Familiarity with common AppExchange packages and integrations tools.
· Ability to understand complex business needs, translate them into technical solutions.
· Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
· Problem-solving skills and ability to manage high priority requests simultaneously.
· Strong leadership skills are essential as this person will represent the development team to stakeholders and executive team.
