RESTAURANT SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS, LLC, A YUM! BRANDS CO-OP, IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING (S&OP) PROGRAM MANAGER I/II* TO JOIN THE KFC CONCEPT TEAM IN LOUISVILLE, KY.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING (S&OP) FOR KEY ITEMS IN THE KFC SUPPLY CHAIN SUCH AS NATIONAL/TEST MARKET PROMOTIONS TO MEET KFC AND RSCS’S STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
LEAD AND COORDINATE SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING OF KFC NATIONAL/TEST MARKET PROGRAMS AND OPERATIONS/BASE BUSINESS ACTIVITY FOR THE KFC CONCEPT
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply plan by collaborating with
KFC cross-functional Project team, KFC Core Team, RSCS Procurement, Suppliers & Distributors with two key goals of ensuring supply and minimizing obsolescence risk
- Synchronize supply and demand planning with Brand strategy
- Communicate supply needs to supply chain constituents
- Track, report and follow-up on supply chain action plans, status and results
- Identify and resolve issues where supply plan is compromised and/or action plans are not being followed
- Participate in cross concept RSCS S&OP activity
LIAISON WITH SUPPLY CHAIN STAKEHOLDERS.
- Define, develop and present S&OP updates along with key Supply Chain topics in established Leadership settings such as RSCS KFC Concept S&OP Leadership Meeting, RSCS KFC Board S&OP Committee and KFCC DEDVIM (Define/Explore/Develop/Validate/Implement/Measure) process.
CONCEPT EXPERT OF S&OP PROCESS, SYSTEMS, AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT TOOLS
- Provide strategic leadership in area of tools and data.
- Fulfill role of KFC Super User in JDA/Blue Yonder S&OP Technology Rollout
OTHER STRATEGIC PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGEMENT

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or Marketing.
- Prefer Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Operations Research, or Econometrics.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years business experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Prefer 3 to 5 years business experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Prefer CPSM Certification
- Quick service restaurant experience preferred.
- Self-starter with ability to deliver results without daily supervision.
- Must have strong analytical, planning, and problem solving skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of critical thinking, analysis, and creative problem solving skills.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on interpersonal and consensus building capabilities. Excellent presentation skills.
