    CLERICAL ASSOCIATE II

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Clerical Associate II is responsible for handling daily responsibilities in a customer service fashion. This includes all telephone calls, patients, visitors, employees and other communication; gives new patients proper registration forms to complete; enters demographic information into the computer; schedules appointments and re-appointments; collects co-payments at time of appointment; performs a variety of clerical support functions such as, pulls charts for next day appointments, files charts at the end of each day and maintains record keeping and filing system; answers telephone and routes calls to appropriate person.

    WORK SCHEDULE 80 Hours. Biweekly

    SKILLS REQUIRED High school diploma or GED equivalent.  Prefer Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school. 

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Individual must be able to perform basic clerical functions and in addition, the ability to comprehend medical terminology. Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Perform project activities related to accounts payable and receivable, client billings, basic general ledger accounting, cost accounting and payroll processing.
    • Perform a variety of accounting, administrative and clerical tasks as directed by Project Manager(s), Accounting Manager or Operations Manager(s) which includes checking and verifying data for completeness and accuracy.
    • Direct and prepare project payroll for craft personnel and certified payroll in LCP Tracker if required.
    • Admin. support for subcontracts, certificates of insurance, and overall compliance on construction projects as necessary.
    • Maintain liaison with project and corporate management to ensure all accounting related activities support the construction schedule, cost report formats and client requirements.
    • Support, facilitate and perform basic accounting tasks as required including: contract drafting, execution and administration; accounts payable processing, field payroll processing, vendor invoice/packing slip reconciliation and preparation, subcontractor insurance certificate management, and other tasks to assist accounting professionals.
    • Participate in and be an actively engaged team member in the Admin./Finance huddles focused on communication and process improvement.
    • Additional tasks as may be required for the project.
