    REGISTRAR ASSISTANT FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES 

    LAW SCHOOL 

     

    The Registrar Assistant for Technical Services handles all back office operations and will primarily set up exams, administer them and troubleshoot student problems.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Contact faculty for midterm, final exam information and Enter final exam information in data table.
    • Set up all exams in Examsoft (pre-session, midterms, finals, bar prep for grads, journal competition).
    • Load course information, student information, anonymous numbers and registration information into exam software as necessary.
    • Create, share and maintain room spreadsheet. Assign rooms for exams. Process all exams taken and send to faculty.
    • Run multiple choice results and send to faculty. Review exam submission times for student with accommodations who submit exams in TWEN or Canvas.
    • Create midterm and final exam processing spreadsheet and share. Scheduled makeup midterm exams and assign rooms.
    • Review all exam schedules for conflicts, time accommodations and extra time for LLM's, enter into data table and email students.  
    • Email all new students with exam software installation instructions. Email exam information to students with midterm and early final exams.
    • Email password and contact information reminders before exam period.
    • Update exam information on OSC and exam software home page.
    • Assist students with issues.
    • Monitor Teams.
    • Review exams if issues. Bundle midterm exams. Run signature sheets for exams
    • Request first assignment information from faculty and post on OSC. Enter Bar exam results in Banner. Review incoming students for submission of official transcript. Email students and put holds on students not in compliance.
    • Manage SWR and DRRS applications. Save in OneDrive. Register students in DRRS and add comment in SGASTDN. Add SWR to table. Update table and student coding when receive SWR. Email students who do not receive SWR.
    • Assist diploma distribution, emails to students and other projects as necessary.
    • Cover front desk one evening a week and as necessary.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • BA/BS required
    • Knowledge of Banner and Access and Excel preferred.  
    • Excellent technical skills required.
    • Customer Service skills necessary for dealing with students, staff and faculty.
