PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Brand Manager in developing and managing North American marketing programs, innovation development and customer presentations. This role will also support marketing programs for Mann products and occasionally Del Monte Corporate.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist with promotional initiatives and programs to drive sales of Mann products on a regional and national level, including but not limited to the coordination with sales and other members of the marketing team of national and regional promotions, customer specific promotions, in-store demos. Can also include working with outside agencies on the execution of briefs.
- Under the guidance of Sr. Brand Manager, work with the national marketing team on the development of trade advertisements, promotions and consumer campaigns
- Tracking and reporting back the innovation results vs budget and performance in market via scan data such as IRI or Nielsen.
- Prepare presentations for North America sales team and management
- Mange and track all contracts in the system from initiation to payment and track vs the Marketing budget (Budgets and Contracts).
- On all packaging change is responsible for shepherding the items thru the internal process from uploading the designs for internal approval until they reach the store shelves
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 4-year College Degree, from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Power Point, Excel, and Outlook, etc.).
- Good knowledge of social and digital media platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Very detail orientated and able to track your time and the progress of others to ensure projects are moving forward on a timely basis.
PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
- Consumer packaged goods or produce experience.
- Experience using ACNielsen or IRI data.
- Experience with graphic design programs (In-design, adobe illustrator).
