    The Area Quality Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining Quality systems supporting our locations to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.

     

    • Provides direction and leadership to the corporate and plant quality teams and the plant leadership team consistent with company, department and plant business plans.
    • Responsible for assisting in the identification, selection, training and coaching of quality and management talent.
    • Assess and build leadership bench-strength and organizational capabilities as well as create a collaborative high-performance work environment.
    • Provides guidance and counsel to leadership and functional management teams on a variety of issues including quality standards, problem solving, containment levels, colleague development, team building, etc.
    • Provides leadership in all quality programs and processes including the development, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of quality programs, processes and services including policy development and compliance.
    • Plans and delivers Corporate and customized quality services in support of plant, department and regional objectives.
    • Develop and implement corporate standardization and read across activities.
    • Guide the plant Quality Managers in providing prioritized direction and leadership to ensure appropriate and consistent quality standards and processes throughout the plants consistent with the Company’s business plan objectives, while assisting senior plant leadership in defining and communicating clear responsibilities for quality standards and processes. 
    • Guide the research, development and implementation of programs and best practices to minimize quality defects through implementation of proactive and innovative programs.
    • Guide and assist in leading initiatives to assess and minimize quality risks and work with Supervisors, Managers and colleagues to integrate quality into daily work activities.
    • Provide Corporate Leadership to develop, build and maintain customer relationships.
    • Manage and drive corporate KPI’s, as well as customer scorecards for operational excellence.
    • Audit new programs for compliance to ALP procedures
    • Support Program Management & Engineering in the Implementation of the Quality Requirements.
    • Support Launch of new products in the plant when applicable.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management or Business, appropriate ASQC certification.
    • Minimum eight (8) years as a quality assurance manager or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of quality tools, practices, systems and corresponding integration.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
    • Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interpret financial and performance data.
    • Familiar with GD&T.
    • Familiar with PPAP, APQP, IAFT and other customer specific requirements.
    • Ability to travel.

    • 15+ years of experience working in senior leadership positions in the field of Corporate Marketing & Communications or Sales.
    • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize key inputs to drive marketing planning and strategy.
    • Proven experience and capacity to lead a global team.
    • Analytical and data-driven background helping grow revenue within a B2B technology or services company
    • Dynamic ability to build and sustain a professional, highly engaged and results-oriented team.
    • Experience using data-driven multi-channel strategies to target high potential customers and prospects.
    • Demonstrated experience as a highly effective manager; a team player with extremely well-developed communication skills; a hard worker, flexible and creative in accomplishing assignments, and a person of the highest personal integrity.
    • Strong bias for action and collaboration with other functional leaders across the business to focus on financial growth goals and use data to make decisions.
    • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, storytelling, and computer skills.
    • Analytical and data-driven background helping grow revenue within a B2B technology or services company
    • Ability to travel as needed.
