    To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

    • Responsible for the daily posting and reconciliation of customer/vendor invoices (shipments) or payments.
    • Maintain accounts receivable/payable subsidiary ledgers for North American locations.
    • Process/store all pertinent information including, but not limited to invoices and memos.
    • Proactively follow-up with customers/vendors regarding past due accounts.
    • Liaise with customer/vendors to obtain all required documentation to ensure all transactions are properly executed and supported, including chargebacks, retros, remittance detail, etc.
    • Create or apply customer/vendor retros as needed.
    • Maintain accurate customer/vendor aging records, including documented evidence of follow-up for all past-due items, including the status/timeline of remediation.
    • Work directly with the Sales and/or Purchasing departments as well as Customers/Vendors to resolve pricing discrepancies.
    • Process customer or vendor statements as needed.
    • Interact with customer or vendor with any needed information (e.g., signed proof of delivery, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, payment detail, internal memos, etc.).
    • Perform month end closing activities ensuring all information balances.
    • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism in all duties.

    This full-time salary non-exempt role is a part of our Finance team and reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

    Required experience:

    • Associate degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • One (1) to three (3) years of accounts receivable or similar experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software – especially Excel.
    • Knowledge and working understanding of ERP systems (e.g., QAD SE, EE, others).
    • Experience with corporate banking platforms, such as CashPro (Bank of America).
