    The Sous Chef is responsible for preparing food of the highest quality and taste for the residents, guests, and associates at the community.

     

    HERE ARE A FEW OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS THAT ARE EXPECTED OF OUR SOUS CHEF ON A DAILY BASIS:

    • Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
    • Look for opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
    • Cook foodstuffs according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration to nutritional restrictions and number of portions to be served
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and storage area that successfully meets or exceeds all state and local health requirements
    • Ensure all food supplies are properly stored

    Required Experience

     

    • High school graduate preferred.
    • One to three years of cooking experience.
    • Must have Food Handler’s certification as required.
