Print Production Account Specialist

The laboratory of Dr. Victoria Blaho is seeking a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE to be a part of an interactive team investigating novel roles for lipids in regulating immune and stem cell biology. Specifically, they are interested in exploring how the lipid S1P and its receptors regulate the development/activation/death of hematopoietic stem cells and mature immune cells.
The successful candidate will play an important role in the growth of the program by performing molecular/cell biology and immunology experiments, tracking and updating laboratory inventory, and managing mouse colonies. This is a great opportunity to further develop a wide array of laboratory skills while gaining scientific knowledge and contributing to cutting-edge research.

High School diploma or equivalent with 5-6 years of relevant administrative/operational support/Project Management in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job, OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
Commercial print experience is desirable.
Requires very good knowledge of general administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes to successfully execute and complete the more progressive/complex duties of the job.
Ability to follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and impact work has on department or company.
Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing problems.
Must be able identify critical elements, variables and develop solutions.
Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.
Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems. Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, or other technical tools in completing assignments.

Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
Able to explain programs policies and procedures in language that is understood by others.
Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed. Must have strong and demonstrated customer relationship skills.
Experience with WCSS, WBS, Foundation/Monarch Order Entry, RMS Distribution system, print billing experience is preferred.
Direct Mail experience is an asset.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays when needed.
