  • Responsibilities

    Reports to Sr. Dir., Program Management Office

    Overview: This role is responsible for marketing finance management and expense operations, including monthly reporting, forecasting, accruals, reconciliation and expense workflows from the marketing organization. In this role, you will work with many members of the global marketing team, AP and Finance to understand expense timing, approval flows and back-end finance/budgeting processes and look for ways to automate to gain efficiencies.  Further, this role will be the chief liaison with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and finance to ensure timing and accruals are properly managed.  In addition, this role will lead special projects as needed to support the CMO and the marketing management team. 

     

    • Work with members of the marketing team to prepare, manage and reconcile purchase requisitions (PRs) for the department for CMO and CEO approval.
    • Ensuring the data from the PRs is entered accurately and timely into the forecasting tool
    • Liaise with finance to ensure that budgets are being managed accordingly and meet monthly to review expenses.
    • With the Sr. Dr. Program Management Office, report back to the CMO of any issues and actions that need to be taken to stay within budget.
    • Lead special projects as needed to support the CMO and her management team

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience with a proven track record of managing and producing quality deliverables on time.
    • Experience in working with Finance, IT and Sales organizations
    • Expertise using Salesforce, Sharepoint and Excel.
    • Superb communication and project management skills
    • Brings a strong work ethic; takes the initiative and thinks creatively to get the job done
    • Enjoys working with a global team with the ability to drive multiple programs forward in a fast-paced setting
    • Analytical mindset to understand drivers of campaign performance

     

    Key Performance Indicators:

    Timely production of and approval of PRs, overall budget management
