    RESTAURANT SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS, LLC, A YUM! BRANDS CO-OP, IS CURRENTLY SEEKING AN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE REPRESENTATIVE TO JOIN THE CREDIT/ACCOUNTING TEAM IN LOUISVILLE, KY.

     

     

    OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

     

    This position is responsible for applying payments to customer’s accounts in the accounts receivable system and for processing all miscellaneous cash receipts and ensuring the general ledger properly reflects all cash activity in a timely manner.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Verifies and posts all cash receipts to the appropriate accounts.
    • Deposit checks through the electronic portal with the bank and reviews for accuracy.
    • Research and resolve payment discrepancies by working with customers, Restaurant Development and Customer Support teams, and the Credit Department.
    • Balance external bank statements to internal cash sheets.
    • Communicate with customers regarding payments via telephone or email.
    • Assist with month-end closing process.
    • Communicates changes of information to appropriate employees.
    • Assist with credit and returns process
      • Track returns to vendor
      • Follow up on status of credit from vendor
    • Demonstrate and adhere to RSCS core values
    • Other duties as defined by management.

      

    Required Skills

    • Associate degree required. Prefer a bachelor’s degree.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in cash application. Prefer 2 years of Accounting experience.
    • Detail oriented with sense of urgency.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and use good judgment.
    • Must have excellent follow up and organization.
    • Attention to detail is critical to success.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

     

    Required Experience
