PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic for Mann Packing. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.

Primary focus is to provide on time, accurate information to Management allowing them to drive their business with complete visibility.

Additionally, the Financial Planning and Analysis Director will oversee SOX and Policy compliance for Mann Packing business, support accounting for Asset and Inventory review, and provide financial insight of Mann Packing agreements (procurement or sales).

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist in monthly financial closings with emphasis on the Assets and Inventory.
• Reconcile and validate monthly production costs vs Standard Cost.
• Provide Monthly P&L by entities
• Update BOMs and Standard Cost.
• Review growing cost, weekly growing / harvesting payments, and end of Season per acres true ups.
• Prepare P&Ls to support sales agreement, new investments or feasibility projects.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
• Compile and analyze monthly reports and forecast.
• Develop an executive KPI scorecard upon which senior management can focus their performance discussions, address needed adjustments, and impact future results to maximize the bottom line.
• Prepare weekly report together Ops and Sales to provide perspective of financial achievement of current week and weeks to come.
• Oversee compliance of policies and SOX control in Mann Packing entities.
• Review all financial aspect of any contracts / agreements committing Mann Packing (mainly procurement and sales).
• Optimize cash flow of Mann packing.
• Research and gather information for special projects as required.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 4 years College Degree (Accounting or Finance), from an accredited institution (Master’s Degree and CPA preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
• Good knowledge of ERPs (SAP preferred) and BI tools.
• Experience in cost and / or growing accounting is a plus.
