     AUTOKINITON WAS FORMED IN MAY 2018, BY KPS CAPITAL PARTNERS TO ACQUIRE L&W GROUP, A LEADING MANUFACTURER OF STRUCTURAL BODY-IN-WHITE AND INTERIOR COMPONENTS. IN SEPTEMBER 2019, AUTOKINITON ACQUIRED TOWER INTERNATIONAL AND MERGED WITH L&W GROUP TO FORM ONE AUTOKINITON. AUTOKINITON IS A LEADING TIER 1 AUTOMOTIVE METAL STAMPING COMPONENTS AND ASSEMBLY SUPPLIER. AUTOKINITON HAS 24 MANUFACTURING FACILITIES CREATING THE SECOND LARGEST BODY-IN-WHITE AND FRAME SUPPLIER IN NORTH AMERICA

    Candidate will be responsible to support our associates, assist with onboarding process conducting investigations and following duties:

     

    • Support the Company’s mission, vision, values, and goals in the performance of daily activities.
    • Maintain positive colleague relations through effective communication and prompt attention to colleague concerns.
    • Assist salaried associates in preparing and documenting disciplinary action.
    • Maintain applicant files and records as required by federal and state law.
    • Assist in the orientation program for all new hires.
    • Conduct exit interviews with all terminated associates.
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions for all job descriptions.
    • Maintain training records for all associates.
    • Assist associates as a facilitator with the insurance companies and with Corporate Benefits.
    • Maintain accurate records for all associates and prepare disciplinary write-ups as necessary.
    • Assist in processing all MESC forms and represent the company at all unemployment hearings.
    • Maintain all active and terminated files in compliance to federal and state employment laws.
    • Assist with associate relations “fun activities” (ex Picnic, Christmas Party) and community service activities (ex. Blood Drive, United Way, etc.).
    • Tracks and reports department metrics on a monthly/annual basis.
    • Assists in the design and implementation of improved processes, structures, and approaches.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.

     

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience.
    • Zero to three (3) years experience in Human Resources

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • 2-3 years’ experience in similar service
    • Ability to work overtime as needed
    • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
    • Experience in navigating a high-profile, high-paced environment
    • Proven customer service skill set that exhibits the desire to go above and beyond to deliver top-notch service.
    • Provide premiere service to clients with a “can do” attitude.
    • Excellent written and oral communication
    • Microsoft Office Suite including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Ability to problem solve, rationalize and mitigate/manage obstacles presented.
