    We are a full-service senior living community offering a unique environment for residents to share their passions while enjoying a quality lifestyle.     The Chef de Cuisine supervises cooks and prep cooks. The Kitchen team is responsible for the preparation and presentation of food for the entire community, including the main dining room, assisted living dining room, catering, room service, private parties, sales events and recreational functions.

     

    HERE ARE A FEW OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS THAT ARE EXPECTED OF OUR CHEF DE CUISINE ON A DAILY BASIS:

    • Knowledge and experience of diverse kitchens is preferred (i.e., hotels, fine dining).
    • Excellent communication skills are required for interactions with residents and staff.
    • Must have ability to assimilate information and make necessary adjustments.
    • Must have knowledge of the use of knives, toaster, convection oven, conventional oven.

    Required Experience

    • High school graduate preferred.
    • Culinary Arts degree, certificate or five years’ experience in related positions in the food industry.
    • Should be able to read, speak, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
