    Job Description

    As a Munson Healthcare FlexTeam Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Traveler , you’ll accept a contracted assignment within the Munson Healthcare System and report directly to the contracted unit manager. This role offers the opportunity to practice across a variety of care settings while remaining part of a supportive, mission-driven organization.

    Our Registered Respiratory Therapists provide care for patients of all ages , supporting general and pediatric units, as well as the Emergency Department, PACU, and adult critical care units. Therapists assess, plan, organize, and evaluate respiratory care using established protocols while applying strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.

    What’s Required

    • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the State of Michigan
    • Minimum of two (2) years of recent and active experience in respiratory care
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

    Preferred Certifications:

    • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) – NBRC
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Note: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required for assignments at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
