    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    Security – 75%

    · Ensure that your duty gear is secure, well maintained and ready for your shift.

    · Observe and make sound judgment decisions to de-escalate and ensure safety for the community when situations arise and for emergencies.

    · Foot Patrol exterior/interior to maintain a visible presence.

    · Able to follow all company policies, procedures and code of ethics.

    Communication – 25%

    · Attend and participate in staff meetings, staff training programs, assigned trainings from the State of Minnesota, and supervisory sessions.

    · Maintain confidentiality standards as outlined in the personnel handbook.

    · Maintain customer service and friendly demeanor towards clients and community members.

    · Perform and complete all assigned documentation.

    · Receive updates and briefings from the previous shift and give updates and briefings to the next shift.

    RSEP is a full-service armed security officer company. RSEP is licensed, bonded and insured in several states including our home state of Minnesota. Our agency deals in Executive, Dignitary and VIP Protection to a variety of clients nationwide including Business Executives, Celebrities, and Political Figures. In addition, we provide a range of investigative services from undercover surveillance to nationwide and international background checks.

    RSEP provides Executive Protection, Armed/Unarmed Uniform officers, plainclothes Loss Prevention and Property Protection, Security Consultation, Security System Installation, Strike Force Observation & Crowd Control, Fingerprinting, Identification Cards and Patrol Division.

    RSEP provides services in Insurance fraud, Missing Persons, Background Investigations, Criminal Investigations, Domestic Investigations, Fixed & Mobile Surveillance, Perm/Total Checks, Undercover Investigations, Job Log Audits, Service of Process and Arson Investigations.

    Qualifications & Skills

    · Preferred qualifications/experience: CPR/First Aid, Technology Savvy, Customer Service/Public Relations, Able to Work Independently and as a Team Member, Minnesota Security Officer Pre-Assignment Training (12 hours training course), Continuing Education (6 hours training course).

    · Must have a permit to carry and firearm. Basketweave duty gear

    · Must pass a criminal background check for BCA & FBI.

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

    · Ability to work in a setting with diverse people and communities.

    · Possess a high school diploma or the GED equivalent.

    · Must be able to withstand potentially inclement weather and stand or walk for extended periods of time depending on the post assignment.

    · Must have a cell phone to communicate with team members and check emails at least once per day.

    · Must have reliable transportation.

    Must have or complete 12 hours pre-assignment training in the first 21 days of hire, as required by State Law as well as CPR, First Aid, AED, PPCT/DT, and firearm training within 21 days of hire.

    There is a $500 hiring bonus after 90 days for full-time employment.
