Assist in planning, directing and coordinates efforts in manufacturing process for the company and lead work force utilization to meet manufacturing schedule
Determine the sequence of operations necessary to fabricate or assemble complex parts and develop related manufacturing instructions.
Develop operation layouts and material handling systems; determines equipment requirements and prepare related cost estimates.
Participate in production-tool planning and the design of products and analyze potential technical problems as related to production.
Make recommendations concerning new developments in production.
Formulate tooling concepts for tool design.
Develop a familiarity with the unique requirements of the Company.
Work in a team environment and able to utilize staffing against needs in production
Perform other related duties as assigned.
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent.2 to 4 years experience in manufacturing, production or industrial engineering.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to write reports, procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferences, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
Proficient with PC and other software as required.
Ability to work as a team and able to lead a manufacturing team to meet production schedule
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, occasionally required to walk, climb stairs, stoop, use hands to finger (keyboard), talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
