We are an established entertainment company located in Los Angeles, CA, and we are currently seeking a skilled Accountant / Job Cost Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Upper Management, Accounting, HR, and various departments, while also interacting with Vendors and Production Staff to ensure effective fiscal management.
• Oversee job cost functions (accounts payable), account analysis (cost reporting), and reconciliations (credit card statements) for commercials, music videos, and special projects.
• Troubleshoot issues with production teams as they arise.
• Audit budgets and wrap reports, maintaining proper documentation.
• Assist the CFO and Controller with various tasks and projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Self-motivated, proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a high volume of work.
• Capable of working independently while also collaborating well within a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated follow-through on projects, meeting deadlines, and taking ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and other accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Windows, Mac, and various accounting software.
• 10-key proficiency.
• Preferred experience in the entertainment industry and production accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
