    Job Description

    We are looking for a reliable CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to handle correspondence and assist customers in the loan application process. You will be responsible for handling emails, text messages, postal mail, and phone calls. We are an established personal lending company that is growing rapidly.

    This position is considered fast-paced and requires a strong attention to detail. A customer service representative will need to be an organized and diligent, team-oriented individual, who is great with customers. They excel in effective customer communication and are willing to go above and beyond their day to day duties to enhance the customer experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle inbound and outbound customer correspondence and ensure that issues are resolved promptly, professionally, and thoroughly
    • Respond to email correspondence quickly & competently
    • Utilize outstanding typing skills to enter detailed notes into our system
    • Look for innovative ways to enhance the customers’ experience
    • Multi-task including switching between multiple screens and systems with speed and ease in order to provide quick and accurate information to the client
    • Handle questions or complaints
    • Update account status and database regularly

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a customer service position, preferably in the lending industry
    • An outstanding focus on the customers’ needs
    • A pleasant, friendly attitude, with an ability to adapt to change
    • Previous finance industry experience is a huge plus
    • Experience dealing with difficult customers
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
    • An empathetic ears and excellent active listening skills
    • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Solid decision-making skills
    • A strong work ethic, and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
    • Tech savvy; ability to use multiple computer systems
    • Must be able to work M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm
    • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
    • High school diploma required
