Job Description
RTI Laboratories, located in Livonia, Michigan, is seeking a full-time customer service representative to its team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, filing, faxing, and communicating with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process samples and enter related information into the Company's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Prepare and sort documents for data entry
- Work with project information provided by our clients
- Review and enter data updates in the LIMS
- Process and scan documents
- Review discrepancies in the documents received and contact clients to verify data as needed
- Advise supervisor of issues related to data
- Distribute samples to laboratory staff
- Enter test results into LIMS and prepare reports and invoices for clients
- Respond to questions and requests from internal and external clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in data entry or other related fields
- Excellent typing skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline, accuracy and detail-oriented
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to get the job done promptly
- Reliable and punctual attendance is required
- Must possess the desire and willingness to learn and apply new skills
- Able to work well with little supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Some college-level science background or vocational training preferred
- Experience working in a testing lab is a plus
