Life Safety Surveyor – Level 2:

Our company is 29-years old and growing! We have a great career opportunity for just the right person. This work involves assessing new and existing hospitals for building and fire code compliance.

A successful applicant must be a quick learner through independent study, self-directed, dependable, responsible with good communication skills and must be detail oriented. The ability to think creatively, solve problems is a must. An applicant must have a demonstrable working knowledge of NFPA 101 Health Care requirements and at least one of the following:

1. NFPA CLSS-HC certification

2. At least 5 years of hospital facility NFPA 101 Life Safety Assessment experience

3. An engineering degree

Our office is on the west side of Indianapolis. This position requires travel during the week between 75 and 150 nights per year. Travel is primarily in the mid-west and almost never includes weekends. You must be able to stand all day and climb a 6 foot stepladder. Salary range is from $55,000 to $70,000 depending upon meaningful certification, knowledge and/or experience. Full family benefits are provided.
