Job Description

RTP Credit Union is currently searching to fill a Member Services Representative (MSR) position. Branch Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

JOB DUTIES:

• Basic Teller Duties
• Provide information and answer questions about accounts and services in person, through written correspondence, via e-mail and on the telephone.
• Open new and maintain existing accounts, including Checking Accounts, IRAs, Certificates of Deposit, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Teller or cash handling experience is required.
• Account opening experience in the credit union or banking industry is a preferred.
• Candidates must have a great personality and the ability to cross-sell loans and services.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, team-oriented attitude is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• A basic understanding of IRAs would be a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
