    Job Description:

    Genesis has an immediate opening for a customer-focused and knowledgeable PDI Technician that wants to become a service advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a strong technical background. In this role, you will be responsible for confirming all repairs and services on the invoice have been properly performed and that the unit is clean and ready for delivery to the customer. You will stage the customers RV for delivery, have it ready to walk the customer through their RV demonstrating that repairs and services were properly done answering their questions and going over any recommendations and the value of having these scheduled to be done. You will assist the service advisor answering phones, scheduling appointments, working with the service advisor, parts personnel and technicians to keep abreast of workflow and needs.

    Responsibilities: The PDI Specialist will:

    Confirm all services and repairs are professionally completed, demonstrate that repairs work properly.

    Stage the vehicle at the prescribed time and be ready to greet the customer when they arrive for pickup.

    Go over the invoice at the RV answering questions and demonstrating proper operations where possible.

    Show and explain recommended / Declined services sharing with the customer the value to having these services performed in a timely fashion.

    As an Assistant Service Advisor:

    Assisting with phone calls to help the service advisor in scheduling and answering customers questions.

    Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and listen to their concerns.

    Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and provide status updates to customers.

    Assist the service advisor process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.

    Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as a PDI technician in the RV industry.

    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency with computer systems and software.

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus.
