    Job Title: RV Apprentice / Entry-Level Technician

    Location: New Bern, NC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a motivated RV Apprentice / Entry-Level Technician to join our service team. This position is ideal for someone interested in building a career in RV repair and maintenance. The apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to learn how to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist senior technicians with RV inspections, maintenance, and repairs

    Learn to diagnose issues in electrical, plumbing, propane, and HVAC systems

    Help with installation and repair of RV components such as awnings, slide-outs, appliances, and leveling systems

    Perform basic maintenance tasks including seal checks, battery service, and minor repairs

    Assist with pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new RV units

    Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

    Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

    Document work performed and report findings to supervising technicians

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED preferred

    Basic mechanical or technical aptitude

    Willingness to learn RV systems and repair techniques

    Ability to use basic hand and power tools

    Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (kneeling, bending, climbing)

    Valid driver’s license required

    Preferred (Not Required)

    Trade school training in automotive, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical repair

    Previous experience in automotive, marine, construction, or maintenance work
