Job Title: RV Technician
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Reports To: Park Manager / Shop Manager
Job Summary
El Paso Roadrunner RV Park is seeking a skilled and dependable RV Technician to join our growing team. The RV Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of RV systems and components. This includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, appliances, generators, carpentry, and structural systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RV service or a related trade, excellent diagnostic and repair skills, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and diagnose issues with RV systems and components
Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, propane, appliances, and coach mechanical systems
Conduct maintenance and safety checks on RV units and facilities
Provide technical support and basic repair assistance to park guests as needed
Track and document parts, labor, and materials used for repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety protocols
Communicate repair timelines and cost estimates to management when needed
Assist with general park maintenance when not working on RV-specific tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Park Manager or General Manager
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience in RV repair, maintenance, or related trade (preferred)
Working knowledge of RV systems: electrical (12V/120V), plumbing, HVAC, propane, and appliances
Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot complex systems
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Skills
RVIA/RVDA Certification or trade school training (preferred but not required)
Experience with water heaters, slide-outs, awning replacement, and structural repairs
Proficiency using diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools
Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with RV coach body repairs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Working Conditions
Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requires standing, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
May involve exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and hazardous equipment
Weekday availability required; occasional on-call shifts for urgent repairs may be needed
