Job Description

RW events is seeking an {awesome} student to intern at our venues, Cypress Grove Estate House and Luxmore Grande Estate, for the Spring 2020 semester (January 6th - April 20th). Interns will assist with day-to-day operations and day-of event management.

Duties include:

• Maintaining vendor insurance documents
• Creating event layouts
• Utilizing event management software to create/update banquet event orders
• Assisting with day-of event management/setup
• Processing linen orders
• Working with operations manager and catering staff on event logistics

Qualifications

• Seeking degree in Hospitality or Event Management
• Available 16-24 hours per week
• Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
• Computer skills are a must
• Basic knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Social Media Platforms
• Must be able to provide own laptop
