Job Description

RWC Building Products, a regional distributor of building materials, is searching for a full-time, qualified HR GENERALIST. Ideal candidates will have continuous Recruiting and Human Resources experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New hire full cycle (post open positions, run and track criminal background/MVR, create personnel and medical folders, I9 management, schedule interviews and maintain online onboarding process)
• Actively recruit/screen candidates and assist with hiring needs for 12 branches in the Southwest
• Generating internal documents such as offer letters, updating handbook policies and collaborating on writing disciplinary actions forms  
• Worker’s Compensation management (gather and provide information to insurance provider; track missed days and Return to Full Duty status)
• Uphold RWC Company Policies and Procedures by providing counsel to branch managers
• Monitor employee 90 day/annual reviews
• Submit unemployment claims
• Respond to Verifications of Employment in a timely manner
• Run MVRs annually for all drivers and aid with DOT compliance paperwork

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates with 2-5 years’ experience in recruiting, human resources, and workers compensation will be considered
• Proven track record of high volume hiring
• Capable of working under minimal supervision with high attention to detail
• Handle high-pressure situations and maintain confidentiality
• Must pass mandatory background check and drug test
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
