Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for developing a new software product from the ground up, staying true to our company's core values and needs. Responsibilities: * Expanding RWS software packages to meet the changing needs of our clients * Developing new applications based on client specifications * Migrating legacy client applications and systems to new platforms * Working with team members on various automation projects * Providing both remote and onsite development and support for our clients * Installing and configuring servers, computers and networking components * Providing database troubleshooting and analysis for client applications Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering * Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields * Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages * Experience with HMI software packages: Ignition, FactoryTalk, and/or Wonderware preferred * Experience in design or use of SQL Server databases * Deadline and detail-oriented * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to work independently and with a team ​ Company Description RWS Design and Controls, Inc., established in 2002, is a privately held, USA-based, process system integrator for the dairy and food industry.
