    Position Overview

Cornerstone is seeking talented professionals to provide radar analysis, algorithm sustainment, and intelligence production support for the National Space Intelligence Center’s 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron (NSIC/4IAS) Space SIGINT mission. Selected candidates will deliver routine and in-depth analysis of space SIGINT data, maintain and enhance mission-critical algorithms, and support mission planning, production management, data validation, and dissemination.

    Primary Responsibilities

Analyze Space SIGINT data, including fact-of-intercept, continuously digitized intermediate frequency (CDIF), pulse descriptor word (PDW), and Javelin system-based data.

Author tier-three technical reports, conduct peer reviews, and perform quality control on generated reports.

Develop and maintain reports detailing technical signal parameters and data visualizations.

Perform in-depth analysis of automation routines, scripts, and processing techniques to enhance production efficiency.

Conduct data validation to ensure integrity and compliance with tradecraft and analytic standards.

Recommend and implement process improvements for data ingest, analysis, product generation, algorithm refinement, and applications involving machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques.

Sustain and enhance the JAVELIN algorithm by resolving bugs, updating features, and documenting changes.

Deliver training to government personnel on analysis tools, techniques, and algorithm updates.

Support mission planning and production management tasks as prioritized by the Government Task Manager (GTM) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

    Desired Skills and Qualifications

Given the specialized nature of the work supported by the U.S. Space Force and NSIC, ideal candidates will possess 5 or more years of experience supporting the 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron (4IAS), its predecessor squadrons, or similar organizations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Candidates without a degree will also be considered if they have 10 or more years of relevant experience, specifically as Air Force or Space Force SIGINT analysts with demonstrated experience in AFSC 1N2X1 (formerly 1N2 / 1N5 AFSC) for enlisted personnel or 13S for officer-level candidates (with supporting references).

Experience with radar phenomenology, radar signal processing, or space SIGINT analysis.

Strong background in Python, MATLAB, Java, JavaScript, and/or C++.

Proven expertise in data management, data analysis, analytics, and image processing.

Familiarity with automation, algorithm development, and scripting for data processing pipelines.

Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation and deliver oral and written presentations.

Demonstrated understanding of SIGINT systems, including experience updating national technical databases.

Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to consent to a CI polygraph.

    Work Environment

Primary work will be performed onsite at NSIC facilities at Wright-Patterson AFB, with some tasks completed at contractor facilities.

Shared workspaces within secure government facilities (NSIC/NASIC).

Access to classified networks, including NIPR, JWICS, and NSANet, in accordance with DD254 and task order requirements.
