    MaxLinear is seeking a current Bachelors or Masters’ degree student for a Communications Systems Internship in our Valencia design center. 

    The internship will be focus on the application of techniques used in Machine Learning algorithms to the linearization of power amplifiers. This linearization is done by means of predistorting the signal in the digital domain (DPD) by means of DSP (digital signal processing). Linearization is the most common and spread solution to cope with the power amplifier limitations. The use of new radio spectrally efficient signals in 5G reinforce the need to apply DPD to increase the power amplifiers efficiency.

    The intern will be mentored by one of the members of the Communication Systems team in the Valencia site and will join design reviews and technical discussions to have a first-hand view of how a high tech company works.
