An exciting opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and skills related to real-world implementations of 5G network technology to support military operations and telemedicine.
Self-starter with cybersecurity skills and experience related to wireless networking. The candidate will provide the JBSA 5G Program with understanding and practical knowledge of cyber security needs and requirements of core network architectures and systems. The candidate will research, analyze, and assess networks for cyber vulnerabilities, risks, and threats. He/she will investigate exploitation techniques that threaten networks and systems and perform vulnerability analyses and assessments.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong Linux skills
- Knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies
Required Experience
- 8+ Years of related engineering experience (An Advanced degree will substitute for experience on a year for year basis)
- Experience with Cellular or WiFi technologies
- Experience working with enterprise system of systems and the vulnerability analysis related to the interconnectivity of these systems
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with cellular and wireless technologies, standards, and implementation
- Active TS Clearance
- Experience developing custom software / hardware tools to assist in performing reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis
- Experience in Penetration Testing and Red Teaming
- 5 Years of related cybersecurity or cyber operations experience
- Experience in vulnerability research and reverse engineer
- Experience analyzing network protocols throughout all layers of the network stack
