    JOB SUMMARY

    The Showroom Support Assistant, Operations is responsible for the cleanliness of the showroom.  They must be professional and able to take the initiative to identify areas that are deficient and rectify them. 

     

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Be an EXPERT on cleaning Holly Hunt furniture, flooring, rugs, lighting, etc.
    • Maintain showroom aesthetic throughout the day which includes moving pieces of furniture for client viewing, resetting disheveled seating, return misplaced accessories, replace light bulbs, clean mirrors/floors/shelves, polish wood and metal finishes, remove all scuff marks, etc.
    • Assist Inventory Coordinator with moving furniture, hanging mirrors/artwork, etc
    • Replenish coffee/napkins/glasses/soda/water in coffee bar and kitchen. Advise GM for replenishments
    • Vacuum all floors/rugs including offices
    • Dust and/or mop floors including under fabric wings and display boards
    • Dust/de-lint all surfaces of furniture, lighting, accessories, etc. on sales floor, offices, stock rooms
    • Clean all glass doors, windows, staircases
    • Clean bathrooms and replace paper supplies, refill dispensers
    • Clean kitchen, load/unload dishwater, replace paper supplies, refill dispensers
    • Clean out the refrigerator once a week
    • Collect all trash from the team and take it to dumpster, replace trash bags (sales floor, bathrooms, offices, stock rooms)
    • Remove wilted flowers if applicable
    • Daily errands for supplies and deliveries
    • Have set cleaning schedule
    • Be a team player
    • Acknowledge every client that comes into the showroom

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION:

    • High School diploma or equivalent work experience; retail work experience

    Required Experience

    SKILLS:

    • Detailed oriented and an expert on cleaning all types of finishes, woods, metals, etc.
    • Be able to lift 60 lbs
