    The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on developing analytical tools for intelligence analysts. Successful candidates will perform software development on a collaborative Agile Scrum development team and will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Work location may be at NASIC facilities, the Radiance offices, or a combination of both. Flexibility and the ability to work on a wide range of development platforms and software is a must. 

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and implement new capabilities
    • Resolve issues found in existing code
    • Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
    • Installation of software at the customer facility

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Top Secret/SCI clearance level
    • May be required to perform activities within a classified facility and adhere to security requirements for access to classified information

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of web application development experience
    • Experience with web frameworks (such as React or Angular, or Django)
    • Experience with RESTful web services  
    • Experience with Python
    • Experience with version control software (ex Git)

     

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
    • Experience with PostgreSQL
    • Experience with ContainerD or Docker (containerized deployment)
    • Security+ certification is a plus
    • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
    • Experience with RabbitMQ message broker or Celery Python’s messaging client
    • Any Kubernetes experience a plus
  • Qualifications
