    THE MISSION

    Radiant Church's mission is to make and mobilize disciples for the glory of God and the good of the city.

    The Radiant Kids Team Leader will be responsible for fulfilling the mission & vision of Radiant Church by partnering with parents in leading their children toward a Gospel-centered life, equipping volunteers to effectively shepherd children, and encouraging children to grow in Christ by teaching them Biblical truths in meaningful ways. 

    JOB ESSENTIALS

    •    A committed follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates spiritual maturity by living out and driving the mission, vision, and values of Radiant Church
    •    A passion for the Lord who consistently spends time with God through His Word, prayer, and community.
    •    A desire to serve families, children, and volunteers through the ministry of Radiant Kids.
    •    Experience in successfully building, leading, coordinating, training, empowering, retaining, and discipling large groups of diverse volunteers.
    •        Strong leadership, presentation, time management, strategic planning, and communication skills.
    •        The ability to engage large groups of all ages and to effectively lead meetings.
    •        Aptitude for learning, utilizing, and adapting to online systems, applications, and software platforms.
    •        Active participant in the life of Radiant Church and must plan to pursue covenant membership.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •        Catalyzing the spiritual development of children ages Birth - 5th grade through ministry programs, initiatives, and events.
    •        Casting vision and implementing RK's ministry philosophy and strategy.
    •        Developing discipleship systems and processes for children, families and volunteers.
    •        Building volunteer teams through recruiting, training, discipleship, encouragement, accountability, and care.
    •        Training and equipping volunteers to effectively use and implement approved curriculum, policies, and procedures.
    •        Attending various Radiant Church meetings and events, as well as all RK specific meetings and events to include weekly staff meetings and weekend services.
    •        Managing the upkeep and availability of the RK ministry areas, equipment, and supplies.
    •        Partnering with the Student Ministry team to ensure the cohesive implementation of a ministry philosophy from Birth to High School Graduation, with a practical focus on Student Leadership roles and serving opportunities in RK.
    •        Providing oversight of kids ministry services (9:15 and 11am services) and ad hoc services and events throughout the year 
    •        Other duties as assigned
