    Job Description

     

    The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) task order for Government Printing Office (GPO) for professional services of one (1) full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel to perform Configuration Management (CM) activities for GPO IT Security, in accordance with NIST CM guidance and CM Security Controls from NIST SP 800-53, Rev. 4 (upon which GPO Directives 825.33C, IT Security Program Statement of Policy, and GPO Directive 825.8A, Information Technology (IT) Configuration Management Policy, are based).

     

    A.2 SCOPE

     

    GPO requires the professional services of one (1) full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel to perform Configuration Management activities for GPO IT Security, in accordance with NIST CM guidance and CM Security Controls from NIST SP 800-53, Rev. 4 (upon which GPO Directives 825.33C, IT Security Program Statement of Policy, and GPO Directive 825.8A, Information Technology (IT) Configuration Management Policy, are based).

     

    These services are described below.

     

    Support the efforts of the Configuration Management (CM) branch in the IT Security Division to operate and administer the CM program for GPO, using the ServiceNow CM tools GPO has licensed, the Microsoft Azure DevOps tool and other GPO CM tools, for assigned GPO applications and systems.

     

    Perform services in accordance with GPO Directives 825.33C (IT Security Program Statement of Policy) and GPO Directive 825.8A, Information Technology (IT) Configuration Management (CM) Policy, and CM branch procedures and best practices. Establish and maintain CM baselines for assigned GPO applications and systems.

     

    1. Use the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Release, and Change Management applications to perform services.

    2. Use the Microsoft Azure DevOps tool for DevOps pipeline work and system deployments for CM services.

     

    Support provided onsite at GPO during normal working hours, typically, though due to the Covid-19 situation, and remote work requirements in line with GPO Telework Directive after Covid-19 situation may be mitigated, remote access to the GPO network is authorized and approved. (NOTE: Occasional work at the GPO off-site backup datacenter and office facilities in Manassas, VA may be required from time to time to support CM work for annual GPO Contingency Tests, and contingency operations as may arise)
