    Radio Operations Manager

    This individual will manage a small team who will work on a wide range of public safety agencies installing the latest technology in two-way communications and in-car video systems. Individuals who are project driven, can train and manage a team to provide quality installations, have top-notch customer service and are excellent communicators are strongly preferred.

    Essential Duties:

    • Manage a team of 8-10 employees and their schedules, along with shop-based radio work

    • Establish priorities & goals to ensure the team completes the work as promised to the customer

    • Prepare accurate quotes in QuickBooks for radio installations and radio part sales, and maintain a proper inventory level for the shop

    • Work with the team to solve opportunities on a project and to create efficiencies in all aspects of completing a project

    • Provide the training, guidance and counseling necessary for individual team members

    • Audit all documents received in from a project and notify the appropriate parties to complete invoicing and inventory adjustments

    • Assist the Radio Project Coordinator with upcoming projects in the field

    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) and training materials

    • Update the CRM accordingly and make sure that tasks are seen through to completion

    • Assume personal responsibility for all aspects of work: quality, timeliness and results; seeking to complete tasks with little oversight

    • Represent the company at various conferences, located throughout the state and country

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Ability to manage others in a fluid work environment

    • Two to four years of management experience, preferably in an auto/tech environment

    • Able to actively listen and communicate respectfully with customers & team members across all divisions of the business

    • Promote a team driven culture

    • Strong customer service skills and ability to solve problems independently, as well as be able to bring ideas/solutions to the table

    • Knowledge of hand/power tools and installation of 12-volt accessories is preferred

    • Must be detail oriented, reliable, have strong work ethic, and have excellent time management skills

    • Able to learn in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

    • Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    • Willing to travel, with some overnight stays

    • A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test and background check are required.

  • Compensation
    $60,000-$70,000 per year
