Radiologic Technologists (CT/MRI, Diagnostic, Interventional)
13-Week assignment with possible extension

Cedar Park Med is a leading healthcare staffing provider, connecting top medical professionals with rewarding career opportunities. We are currently seeking three Radiologic Technologists in CT/MRI, Diagnostic, and Interventional.

Rates vary depending on modality, experience, and local vs. traveler status.

Shifts Available

• CT/MRI: Evenings, 8hr shift, 5 days, 3pm–11pm + rotational weekends/holidays / Evenings 12.20pm-11pm + rotational weekends/holidays

• Diagnostic: Evenings (3pm-11.30pm) + rotational weekends/holidays, possible on-call

• Interventional: Days, 8hr shift, 5 days + rotational weekends/holidays, possible overtime

General Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under the direction of radiologists

• Greet, prepare, and position patients; explain exams clearly and compassionately

• Set appropriate exposure factors for high-quality imaging

• Operate Siemens imaging equipment efficiently; troubleshoot malfunctions as needed

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards for staff and patients

• Document procedures in EPIC and store images in Synapse PACS

• Enter accurate data into Radiology Information System for billing/documentation

• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to meet diagnostic needs

• Maintain regulatory compliance and support training of other staff

Modality-Specific Responsibilities

CT/MRI

• Conduct CT/MRI exams using Siemens scanners

• Ensure optimal imaging through proper patient positioning and exposure parameters

Diagnostic

• Perform routine diagnostic X-rays, including on-call exams

• Process films and maintain quality control protocols

Interventional

• Perform interventional imaging procedures under radiologist direction

• Provide contrast injections (certification required)

• Follow specialized protocols and support radiologists with complex imaging needs

Qualifications

All Modalities (Required):

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

• Valid NYS license and registration (or eligible)

• ARRT certification (or board eligible)

• Current CPR certification

CT/MRI & Diagnostic:

• Minimum 1 year of experience

Interventional:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive technical experience

• Certification for contrast injection required

• ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment if not currently held)
