Multi-provider family practice clinic in Yukon is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic X-Ray examinations as ordered by providers.
No weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities
- Performs imaging procedures independently by interpreting the order, assessing the patient, completing necessary paperwork, positions the patient, selecting appropriate equipment and supplies, selecting accurate technique factors, making exposures, processes, critiques and prepares films for interpretation.
- Will be cross trained on Dexa Scan and EKG.
- Transportation of patients as needed to and from the Imaging services department.
- Practices radiation safety techniques and is responsible for marking and labeling films correctly.
- Exhibits exceptional team work and patient care skills necessary for an efficient patient centered Imaging facility.
Requirements
- Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCRET) preferred.
- Experience working in a high volume X-ray department a plus.
- Must have excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
