  • Responsibilities

    Fast paced multi-provider Ortho clinic in North OKC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team PRN

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

    Monday-Friday - 8am to 5pm availability

    No weekends or major holidays

    Responsibilities

    • Performs imaging procedures independently by interpreting the order, assessing the patient, completing necessary paperwork, positions the patient, selecting appropriate equipment and supplies, selecting accurate technique factors, making exposures, processes, critiques and prepares films for interpretation.
    • Transportation of patients as needed to and from the Imaging services department.
    • Practices radiation safety techniques and is responsible for marking and labeling films correctly.
    • Exhibits exceptional team work and patient care skills necessary for an efficient patient centered Imaging facility.

    Requirements

    • Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
    • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCRET) preferred.
    • Experience working in a high volume orthopedic clinic or high volume X-ray department preferred.
    • Experience with EPIC a plus.
    • Must have excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
    • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Diploma, Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
    • Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred
    • Strong med surg, ICU, ER, acute experience
    • Home Health experience a plus
    • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure
    • Current CPR certification
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
