    PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Ultrasound RDMS Certified) for a healthcare facility in Belcourt, North Dakota.

    The Technologist will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while working within an integrated clinical team.

    LOCATION
    The position is onsite at a hospital and care center setting in Belcourt, North Dakota , serving patients with varying medical needs in a rural community.

    PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
    Part-time or full-time schedule depending on facility needs.
    Rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and on-call availability may be required.
    Specific weekly hours will be discussed during the screening and onboarding process.

    ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist will perform duties including, but not limited to:

    • Independently operate fixed and portable ultrasound imaging equipment.

    • Perform routine and advanced ultrasound examinations, including specialty procedures such as breast mammography, DVT, RVT, or other exams as certified.

    • Properly position and prepare patients to ensure optimal imaging results.

    • Verify patient identity and review medical history relevant to the ordered exam.

    • Ensure strict adherence to radiation protection, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

    • Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate findings or abnormalities to radiologists.

    • Maintain accurate imaging documentation and upload studies into EMR/RPMS/PACS systems.

    • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients throughout procedures.

    • Participate in daily Quality Control and departmental performance improvement activities.

    • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain efficient clinical workflow.

    • Assist in medical emergencies (CPR, anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest) as part of the hospital team.

    • Participate in continuing education, mandatory training, and updates to imaging protocols.

    QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL

    Education & Experience

    • RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification in Ultrasound (required).

    • Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

    • Experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients is preferred.

    Licensure & Certifications

    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.

    • Active licensure or certification as required by state or facility standards.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Proficiency in ultrasound imaging equipment and computer imaging systems.

    • Strong understanding of anatomy, imaging techniques, and safety protocols.

    • High attention to detail with the ability to assess image quality.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.

    • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced or high-volume environments.

    • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.

    • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and patient-centered care.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient positioning.

    • May require lifting or transferring patients.

    • Exposure to radiation and infectious diseases mitigated by PPE and safety protocols.

    • Must comply with hospital and clinic safety, quality, and compliance standards.
