Job Summary
We are seeking a Radiology Technician for outpatient surgery centers to join our team! These jobs are specifically C-Arm-fluoro work only, you will be operating the C-arm for various surgical procedures, including pain management, orthopedic surgeries, spine surgeries, cystoscopies, pacemaker placements, and more. We are commonly asked to aid in preparing/positioning patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and assisting in moving the patient. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment.. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a surgical setting, and confident with operating a C-arm.
Responsibilities
Input patient information to equipment
Print requested images and/or send images to PACS
Set up equipment for testing if necessary, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
Document all patient radiation doses within a radiation dose book
Maintain and clean all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed
Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
BLS Certification
California and Fluoroscopy Licenses
Experience Operating the C-arm for Surgical Procedures
