Radiologic Technology Laboratory Assistant: Supports and/or facilitates learning experiences in the radiographic procedures positioning laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical practice sessions, in accordance with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Grayson College Radiologic Technology Program policies and procedures.
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated laboratory assistant who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrates the ability to motivate and educate students in both classroom and laboratory settings utilized in our radiography curriculum.
The compensation for this position is $35.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
40% Provides instruction and evaluates radiography students’ progress and competence in the classroom and lab.
40% Assist with on campus laboratory simulation checkoffs, and the on-going review, evaluation, and development of curricula in the program and make suggestions per policy.
10% Assists with development, review and revision of curriculum for the Radiologic Technology program and ensures that the program meets all local, state, and national regulatory standards.
5% Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Director/Clinical Coordinator.

Qualifications:
● Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred. ● Holds a current and unrestricted American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration. Dual or multiple modalities (CT, MRI, Mammography, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, etc.) preferred ● Interpersonal skills to work effectively with students during the learning process. ● Strong organizational skills. ● Effective verbal and written communication skills. ● Knowledge and desire to teach courses related to radiologic technology. Experience as an instructor or in tracking student learning outcomes, and implementing improvement plans preferred.
