Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with BMO- Basic X-Ray Machine Operator at our fast-paced Premier Urgent Care in Melbourne, FL! This position is a combination of Medical Assisting duties as well as performing basic x-ray imaging. Must have current X-Ray Florida Certification. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK: THURSDAY, FRIDAY, & SUNDAY.

Responsibilities

Perform Physician ordered X-Rays

Obtain patient vitals, preparing patient and exam room for treatment

Assist providers with preparing for minor procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals

Perform non-intravenous injections, apply splints and dressings

Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart

Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary

Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required

Current Florida state X-Ray Certification/license is required

BLS certification

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail
