    PsyPhyCare , a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc. , is seeking to contract with a Travel Radiology Technician for an assignment located in Elgin, North Dakota.

    This is a travel role designed for professionals interested in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services while working temporarily at a rural healthcare site. Housing, transportation, and travel-related support will be provided as part of the assignment package.

    The Radiology Technician will deliver accurate diagnostic imaging services, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate within an integrated clinical team.

    LOCATION

    The clinician will support a hospital and care-center setting serving a diverse patient population with varying levels of medical needs.
    This travel assignment is based onsite in Elgin, North Dakota.

    ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Travel Radiology Technician will perform duties including, but not limited to:

    • Conduct diagnostic radiologic examinations (X-rays) following approved imaging protocols.

    • Properly position patients to obtain high-quality images.

    • Verify patient identity and review pertinent medical history.

    • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection-control standards.

    • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and report concerns to the radiologist.

    • Document procedures accurately and upload studies into EMR/PACS systems.

    • Provide clear communication and supportive patient care throughout procedures.

    • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary clinical staff.

    • Operate, clean, and monitor imaging equipment; report malfunctions as needed.

    • Participate in continuing education, required trainings, and protocol updates.

    QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL

    Education & Experience

    • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology ( required ).

    • Clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

    • Willingness to train in CT imaging is highly preferred.

    Licensure & Certifications

    • ARRT certification (or ARRT-eligible).

    • Applicable state Radiologic Technologist License.

    • Current BLS certification.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Proficiency with radiologic imaging equipment and digital imaging systems.

    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and radiation safety.

    • High attention to detail and image-quality assessment.

    • Effective communication and patient-interaction skills.

    • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced or high-volume settings.

    • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and strong patient-care values.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely assist with patient positioning.

    • May require lifting or transferring patients.

    • Exposure to radiation and infectious diseases mitigated by PPE and safety protocols.

    • Must follow all hospital and clinic safety, quality, and compliance standards.
